Breaking News! Wild bears have been released into Liverpool ONE and they are hiding in all of your favourite shops, restaurants and cafes ready for you to find them!

We’re going on a bear hunt; we’re going to catch a big one!

The classic story by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury was published over 30 years ago and has had mums, dads, brothers and sisters splishing and splashing on every adventure! And what's more, this family favourite bear hunt story is coming to life!

We can't go over it, we can't go under it, we'll have to go through it!

Join the expedition and celebrate Liverpool’s Year of Reading by taking part in the bear hunt across the city! These cheeky bears are hiding all over Liverpool, you never know where you may catch one. They are hiding all around some of the top spots from shops, cafes, library’s, you may even find some at local charities!

Spend the day navigating the city, and while you're out and about, why not take a picnic to have on Chavasse park or perhaps grab a bite to eat at one of the delicious restaurants on offer. Bear hunting most definitely calls for some fuel - It's hungry work.

The aim is to spot and photograph ten of these pesky bears and once you have reached the magic number, fill in the form to win your certificate!

Top Tip: Make sure you are checking out the hashtag #LiverpoolBearHunt and #LiverpoolReads for clues on where you can find them. Once you find a bear, share a snap to Instagram with the hashtag so you can let others know a bear is in town!

Bear spotting is now open and will continue up until the 31st August, so get yourself down there and find the bears quickly before they all escape!
